Jacey uses soft pastels & pastel pencils to create true-to-life portraits of dogs, cats & horses in the old fashioned, non-digital way. Drawing & painting freehand takes many hours of detailed work & produces a likeness with character, rather than a photographic-style image.
This series of portraits is based around the eyes of the animal – the “windows to the soul”, & captures the unique essence of each beloved pet in a partial portrait that is still instantly recognisable to the owner. These can currently be commissioned at the introductory price of just £75.
