PET SEARCH TEAM TRAINING: LOCKDOWN SPECIAL!
We are excited to now offer 1-2-1 training for all trailing teams in South Wales!
SUITABLE FOR ALL – beginner to experienced mantrailers. All dogs welcome 🙂
The ultimate game of hide and seek for you and your dog! Learn new skills or build on existing ones to progress your trailing adventures with fun and motivational training. Our training will help you and your dog build a solid foundation on which to build your trailing skills in the search for both people and animals.
No previous experience required. Dogs are worked individually making it an ideal activity if your dog is a little nervous, anxious or reactive. Anyone can train with us at any time as each trail is unique, set for individual teams depending on their experience – we have something for everybody. These sessions will ensure you and your dog will gain the maximum knowledge and experience from each trail.
1-2-1’s are priced £25 per session per dog, within 10 miles of Barry (allow 1-1.5hrs). Sessions are available outside of this area but will be subject to an additional mileage charge (confirmed upon enquiry). To keep within the guidelines for meeting outside, the handler will need a household member to join us to hide.
Sessions are available 7 days a week between 6am and 9pm, contact us to check availability.
What you need:
- suitable clothing and footwear; a head torch for night trails
- a well-fitted harness and long leash for your dog
- a high value reward for your dog in the form of moist food (canned food, meat, pet pate etc.)
- water for your dog
