Special half day workshop introducing you and your dog to the amazing world of trailing! Find out what trailing is all about, how we teach it and most importantly have a go with your dog! Best of all no previous experience needed.

We all know our dogs noses are incredible powerful. Trailing harnesses their amazing sense of smell, provides physical exercise as well as mental stimulation in the ultimate game of hide and seek. The best part, both you and your dog share this fun adventure together – working as a team, in search of the missing pet or person. The thrill and excitement of successful searches never gets old, each trail will leave you wanting more!

Trailing is accessible to everyone regardless of age, breed or disability! Your training is specifically tailored to you and your dog. Dogs are worked individually making it the perfect activity for nervous or reactive dogs; and is also is low impact, allowing both owners and dogs with limited mobility to take part.

More than a game – working together with your dog, learning to trust each and building confidence through fun and motivational training will strengthen your relationship, having a positive impact in your every day lives.

We will also have our special guest pet photographer with us on the day, Rowan from Pooch and Pineapple (https://www.poochandpineapple.com/) giving you the opportunity to get some shots of you and your dog in action.

What you need:

• suitable clothing and footwear
• a well-fitted harness and long line for your dog
• a high value reward for your dog in the form of moist food (canned food, meat, pet pate etc.)
• water for your dog

If local restrictions prevent the workshop from going ahead you will receive a trail voucher of equivalent value for use towards future training.
