OFQUAL Level 3 Canine Emergency First Aid Course with Rachel Bean (RVN) and Pettrailer UK
For all dog owners and professionals we owe it to our canine companions to give them the best care we can when they need it most – in an emergency.
This is the ONLY regulated course of its kind in the UK. Qualification is valid for 3 years.
The qualification covers the most commonly faced canine needs such as how to treat injury, dressing wounds, allergic reactions, stings, poisoning, choking, seizures, CPR, hypothermia and much more.
This course is OPEN TO ALL: gain new knowledge or refresh your existing skills at our accessible venue at the Kenfig Nature Reserve, Bridgend, South Wales. Disabled parking is available.
Rachel Bean RVN is a Qualified Veterinary Nurse with 20 years experience.
Rachel teaches in a relaxed and knowledgeable manner. This Course will be discussions of common Canine First Aid scenarios with practical sessions including bandaging on real dogs and CPR on CASPER the Resuscitation Dog.

Costs are:
- First Aid Workshop: 4.5 hours attendence only £50 per person
- OFQUAL Level 3 Qualification: 6 hours, £120 per person
10% of all tickets sales will be donated to Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team.
For every 5 tickets sold on this course, Rachel will donate 1 free place to a team member: these skills will be invaluable during our call outs involving dogs.
